• Manage, evaluate and restructure FDNY Youth Programs including the Capt. Vernon A. Richard High School for Fire & Life Safety and the FDNY Exploring Program, designed to inspire and prepare young people for careers as FDNY firefighters and EMTs.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including the NYC Department of Education, FDNY EMS and Fire Academies as well as community partners, parents and students.
• Design and lead student engagement initiatives while managing marketing and communication strategies to support recruitment efforts.
Director of Youth Communications September 2024 – September 2025
• Developed executive-level reports, presentations and projects for senior leadership, city officials and stakeholders to advance key organizational priorities.
• Highlighted the FDNY’s Youth Workforce & Pipeline Programs by researching, writing and designing marketing materials to further recruitment and fundraising goals. Created organic social media campaigns, garnering a 165% increase in applicants to the Youth EMS Academy.
Director of Executive Communications March 2024 – August 2024
• Elevated to a newly-established role supporting Fire Commissioner Laura Kavanagh. Drafted speeches, op-eds, talking points, letters to stakeholders and other related materials as needed.
• Highlighted Commissioner Kavanagh’s profile and priorities by pitching stories to regional, national and ethnic media outlets.
• Reviewed and edited communications materials to ensure alignment with intended messaging.
• Managed Commissioner Kavanagh’s social media accounts, including capturing and editing photos and videos.

• Led social media strategy across 7 platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, TikTok), increasing FDNY’s online engagement by 15% and boosting public awareness of key initiatives, including realtime fire operations, recruitment and community outreach programs.

Led a strategic communications consultancy serving clients across healthcare, nonprofit and corporate sectors. Specialized in mulQmedia storytelling, crisis communications, brand strategy and fundraising campaigns for clients such as Rubenstein, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Bristol Myers Squibb, St. Clare’s Health and others.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
• Produced high-impact mulQmedia content that showcased breakthrough research and powerful patient stories, including an organic social media campaign which raised $300,000 for the Department of Pediatrics in just two weeks. Trained and mentored the editorial team to build their skills as mulQmedia content creators.
Holy Name Medical Center
• Joined the rapid-response crisis communications team during COVID-19 as HNMC became the epicenter of the epidemic in New Jersey. Spearheaded crisis communications and social media to counter misinformation and strengthen public health engagement. Produced high-impact content, conducted media outreach and produced livestream campaigns that elevated naQonal visibility and supported critical fundraising efforts.

• Developed Weill Cornell Medical College’s first multimedia strategy highlighting the priorities of Dean Laurie Glimcher, the first woman dean of WCMC and the accomplishments of one of the nation’s premier medical schools; producing original video content for Office of External Affairs & Development.
• Managed a high volume of video projects that required careful planning with major donors for presentations before the Cornell University Board of Trustees and WCMC Board of Overseers. Researched and interviewed WCMC executive leadership team, stakeholders and researchers, planning and producing content across multiple linear and digital platforms.
